- Your ability to memorize mostly useless things
- Your ability to regurgitate information in the way others want you to
- Your ability to understand what adults want from you and give it to them
- Your tolerance for working on tasks you don’t find useful because others want you to do them or believe them to be helpful/socially acceptable
What grades do NOT determine:
- Your intelligence
- Your creativity
- Your emotional capabilities
- Your likeliness to succeed
- Whether you’re a good person

I need this watch in my life. Like, as soon as possible.
Even though I probably couldn’t tell time on it.

Gotta Get Thru This - Daniel Bedingfield
Listening to music, real music with instruments and things
Each with their own sound, riff, hum, beat, thump, strum and ting
Dissecting each musical host, hearing each one of them on an intimate level. Familiarizing yourself with the uniqueness and differences of them all
and then there’s that moment, when it’s all fused together to create this, this beautiful sound that’s in complete harmony
When I listen to music it’s more than just listening. An experience takes place. Most times I just close my eyes and fall into the melodies and drift away as if I’m no longer within myself but, somehow floating between several dimensions of consciousness and then the notes and keys. With every change in tempo is a different level of emotion. At that point, “listening” has become an insult. It’s more of, hmm, being. Being involved and apart of this beautiful unison.
4-5 minutes of ecstasy.
Maybe that’s a bit much for an explanation, but it’s real and I hope I’m not the only one who feels it.
I can’t possibly be the only one to sit back and wonder to myself, how could something be so, so
Perfect?
